Active is the best team in orthopedics in the area. I have seen 4 different doctors from this clinic for 4 different body parts. All of them were very knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend Active.
Another office who takes payment before services are rendered. The doctor was sticking a needle in my knee before I was even done explaining my pain. Then to be ushered off to X-rays and finally to the brace fitter who had me inexplicably sign for a $250 brace (identical found online for $80) telling me I would be charged a deposit of $40 and credited back if my insurance covered it. I fell off from my bicycle and hurt my elbow. I visited the Urgent Care(MedEx) next morning They took an X-Ray and the UC doctor identified a minor chip fracture in the head of radius bone of my elbow. They also put a temporary casting to hold my elbow in L shape until I visit an Orthopedic Doctor. I got an appointment with Active Orthopedic 2 days after. I filled out all the forms and gave them my X-ray as well. It took 45 minutes to see Dr.Benke. He looked at the X-ray and said its a normal injury and no casting or surgery... read more
