Extremely disappointing and dishonest experience. This mechanic clearly tried to take advantage of my wife because she doesn’t have car knowledge. She was quoted $2,300 for a so-called “leak repair.” I took the car to another reputable shop and the exact repair was done for $500. On top of that, they charged $770 for two tires that should cost no more than $400 max elsewhere. That’s not a small difference — that’s blatant price gouging.
