In the process of buying a car, they were closing and we were supposed to come back and sign paperwork. We made a $1000 down payment. Then we made a payment. That day the broke down in Ann Arbor. It was at a shop out there. All informed to the owner. He then called the cops saying we stole the car and when they showed up to have my husband arrested for grand theft auto, we showed documentation and told them the real story.
