One star is too many for this appraiser. An appraiser was sent from our refinancing company and performed the most lazy, inaccurate, poor appraisal. He was not here more than 5 minutes and claimed he took pictures. He undervalued my home by at least $60k and his comps were not comparable to my home. I would NEVER hire this company for an appraisal. Thankfully we had more than enough to refinance, but cant understand how yahoos like this stay in business. The appraiser, ****** ****, did not even turn in the lights and took pictures in the dark saying he had a flash on the camera. Was not even in the house 5 minutes. Then appraised the house for less than it was 2 years ago! How has every house gone up in value except mine. Similar houses in the same school district that are actually near me are going for up to 100k more. Yet, my house has gone down in value? Makes no sense and has destroyed my refinance.

They did an appraisal for a new build I'm buying and appraised it using comps that are not the most relevant and therefore inaccurately under valuing my new home. This cost me $30k at closing. When the lender asked them to reconsider the value, they ignored the new comps provided saying they were not sold when in fact, as indicated, were sold several weeks prior. I attempted to contact Frank B**** regarding an appraisal that was performed on my home for a potential refinance transaction. I primarily just wanted an idea of how he came to choose the comparable sales that were used in his report. Horrible service all the way around. The appraiser, Frank B****, performed subpar documentation. The appraisal report was filled with typos, grammatical errors and punctuation mistakes. The report looked like a teenager filled it out. There were also multiple areas that were left completely blank. The photographs were taken from a moving vehicle and not centered.
