I have been with A.C.T for about 3 years now, but these last two years have been the worst. The bookkeeper Darlene is terrible, everything has to go through her first so she can "clean up" but she has no clue what she is doing, then she's supposed to then give your "reconciled" books to the accountant, well mine was Frank and he also has no clue what is going on. I am not sure what has happened to ACT, but they are only a shadow of what they used to be. I had been a client of ACT for about twelve years and have always received outstanding customer service; the office was almost like family. The great service started going downhill with tax season 2022-2023. During that time, I received bills for services that I did not ask for, exorbitant fees for simple services only consuming minutes of labor, along with inflated fees for phone call minutes that could not be accounted for. I have had my personal taxes prepared by A.C.T. services for the last five years, and I couldn't be happier with their professionalism, customer service, timeliness, and state-of-the-art portal. They are always reinvesting in their technology to make sure the customer experience is seamless and easy to use. I highly suggest using their services if you haven't gone through a professional before! I have zero anxiety around tax season because I know they have my best interests at heart and are super communicative.
