RecommendedThis is the best vet and hospital. The staff is phenomenal. The doctors actually talk to you and call you with test results and recommendations. Sandra who is a vet tech is amazing. I am very protective of my fur baby and I have been with them for at least 10+ years. They try to avoid surgery and use a conservation alternative if possible which I really appreciate. I have called them in a panic and they always get me/Fiona in to see a doctor. I was on vacation and Fiona got out. Since she was chipped, they called Acres North... read more
RecommendedEvery staff member here has probably taken care Baron by now. The receptionists greet us at the door by name and keep us informed of his upcoming vaccinations, etc. All of the veterinarians have always listened fully to our concerns and tried their best to keep costs down without sacrificing care. He used to hide under the chairs when it was time for his monthly shot, but now he is very comfortable with the office and the technicians' gentle kindness and positivity. RecommendedThe great staff at Acres North took excellent care of our 2 Cavaliers for many years before we moved away. Every time we went in it was just like we were family. When our oldest died at 16, I emailed to let them know and received the sweetest card signed by everyone.
RecommendedI had to put my dog down because of cancer related issues. The entire staff was compassionate and took their time explaining the procedure and what we see and how it will happen. Then after she passed they gave us some alone time with her. I highly recommend this vet clinic. They were extremely professional and caring.

This clinic refuses to quote fees over the phone. You basically have to bring your dog in and pay the $55 exam fee, in order to find out what they're going to charge you for anything else that the dog needs from there, including basic vaccinations, a heartworm test, a microchip, simple x-rays what blood work. Not to mention they also will not quote their cost for a spay or neuter without you bringing your dog in and paying the $55 exam fee. Really poor business practice.
