First time going, my dog had a laceration near her eye about an inch long. Vet comes in and looks at her, says it’s a bad cut and would need to be completely sedated, so that means bloodwork, she stays overnight...so that’ll be $650!! It just wasn’t sitting right with me, i left went to another vet and they used glue, gave medication and sent us on our way for $134!! Just wrong!!
RecommendedTime and time again Acerage Animal Clinic has saved my aging Chihuahua when illness or traumatic injury occurred. I brought in a very damaged little doggie and Dr. Abed performed what I call a miracle. The Doc didn’t know if my pup would make it but he did. We have taken both our dogs here over the years and this past weekend the Dr. was amazing as well as his staff. Our 4 legged baby probably wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for them which they also stayed open late to take care of her. They even called us each night to check to see how she was doing! We are truly grateful and thankful.
My dogs have been treated by Dr. Abed, his family and staff, for 20+ years now. I think of the Abed family as my own, and think they think likewise regarding mine. The care they have given my dogs over these years has been thorough, caring and loving. The Doctor, his Wife Hoda, their children Mohamed Jr., Abdullah and Miriam, and all the other staff members I have interacted with over the years have always shown both love and respectful care and treatment of my Canine family.
Have been taking my cats to Dr. Abed since we moved here. Very kind and compassionate.
My Mother brought her cat in for them to check to see if she had ear mites last year. A total of $400+ bill!! Throughout the time we noticed she wasn't responding to what we were saying. My Moms cat is now deaf. The cat has not been the same. She doesn't move quite the same, as if her back end was injured. I don't recommend this place.
I have only brought my dog here once out of convenient. There was nothing convenient about it. What should have been a fairly quick visit turned into 2+ hours. They said there were going to give my dog pain medicine without disclosing that it was also a tranquilizer. My poor dog was knocked out for well over an hour. I will never go here again. It is worth the extra 10 minute drive, even in an emergency case, for a good vet.
