Had dinner last night at Aqua Viva, I had the Zuppa di Mare, The food and the service was outstanding. Nowhere did I have a better Italian meal in Illinois definitely will be going back.
The staff was very friendly and the waitress was attentive. The food was good with the exception of my daughter's Shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp was extremely chewy. The waitress indicated they were overcooked. There were two events during our lunch so it was a little tight/hectic.
We got the grilled calamari with octopus and it all tasted so bad. I feel sick thinking about it again. Service was good though.
Great wine and food. Service is excellent
