I had to sublet my apartment (sublet moved in and then moved out) I drove the 4 hours to Chicago to clean and show it to some new potential sublets and the locks had been changed and they had rented it out without telling me. My wife and I recently switched from another property management company to John Payne (part of Acorn Group), and I cannot speak highly enough of the service we have received. Our Lettings Manager, Pernilla Johansson, did a fantastic job. She was able to quickly find several very high-quality prospective tenants at the rent we were asking. Sustained, non-stop intercom ringing in my unit started around midnight last night and is still ongoing into afternoon today. Emergency maintenance attempted to fix it, but it requires a specialist. I had to call the management office several times today to speak with someone, and when I did, they did not provide precise information on next steps or an ETA, but that they’ll “try to squeeze me in”- on a Friday, nonetheless.
