Sustained, non-stop intercom ringing in my unit started around midnight last night and is still ongoing into afternoon today. Emergency maintenance attempted to fix it, but it requires a specialist. I had to call the management office several times today to speak with someone, and when I did, they did not provide precise information on next steps or an ETA, but that they’ll “try to squeeze me in”- on a Friday, nonetheless. Absolutely Disgusting — Do Not Use This Company This property management company is beyond negligent, completely disgusting and unprofessional. They left a leaking gas stove unfixed for over three months, which was sending plumes of smoke setting off alarms and still refusing to replace it. They showed a basic disregard for fire risks and threatening lives. They left tenants in freezing cold apartments and not urgently taking care of the faulty furnaces. I live across the street from their building at 6002 N Kenmore Ave in Edgewater. In just the past 6 months there have been 5 shootings inside that building, FIVE!! I really feel for the people living there, how could you possibly feel safe knowing a bullet could fly through your wall at any moment?? Not to mention the fatal stabbing that have happened in the alley behind it this summer.
