We ordered windows in August and were given a tentative ship date of September 22. It is now the end of November and no windows have been delivered. We have called, most recently at the beginning of this month, when were told they were almost done. A week or so after that with no updates, we emailed but have received no reply.

We recently purchased an acorn house from 1987. Have been told a couple times that the house is under built. When we called to try and track down plans, we were quoted exorbitant pricing to re-purchase them. And when we asked about why the pricing was so high they turned very defensive and hung up. We were told “take it or leave it“. We’ve had no experience with this company before other than acorns work product, which has been lacking, and very poor customer service.

We built an Acorn home in Shrewsbury in 1984. It was one of the most amazing experiences we had to date. We were real estate broker/owners and worked with a approved contractor to do others in the same town. The quality of construction product, knowledge, guidance, and adapting to the terrain is amazing. They work to meet a buyer and/or builder's budget. Their warranty on product was exceptional for us. Although we sold this home several years ago, I would do it all over again.

I built my acorn home in 2003, from the beginning stages thru to the end & even up to now their support has been great. Steve Kay always makes himself available to any request

I think I live in one built in 1974. It is beutiful.
