This is a special place. They take their time to make perfect cups of coffee. It's not pretentious about it at all, either. You can go as fancy or as basic as you want. Every cup will be given the same level of artisanal care. Less a coffee house, more a place to remember the joy of drinking coffee outside of its mundane role as a motivator in our lives. Truly, an excellent cup of coffee.
I'll start out and say I'm a gourmet coffee shop geek. Had an espresso drink... it said medium roast but I found it to be slightly over roasted. Cool vibe but not the warmest of service experience. Just counter service so just outside seating (limited) or grab and go. Overall, decent coffee but far from elevated.
Ordered an Americano. They roasted their own coffee beans instead of buying roasted coffee beans somewhere. So the coffee tasted the unique flavor of their own and I liked the flavor.
Coffee was okay Didnt have my glasses, so I used my phones camera to zoom. (Female staff) made rude comment about taking pictures? Vibe is not it
One of the best coffee places I know. Was there last year when visiting carmel. Line but quickly moves. Ample parking. Highly recommend.
