Absolutely fantastic experience! Finding where to go to check-in for the lab was a little confusing (not a lot of signage), but once we found it the woman at the desk did a great job checking us in. She was very kind and helpful. After checking in it was no more than 5min before we were called back. We notified the employee who came to grab us for the blood work that we needed to stay together since my husband has a history of passing out and they accomodated us without a problem. I have been coming to this Park Ridge location whenever one of my doctors has ordered any lab work for several years and the wait has usually been no more than 5-10 minutes. There may have been an occasion I waited 30 minutes but it was an extremely busy day and may have been low staffed. The employees have been nice and courteous.

Had a scheduled appointment for my father’s blood work. After 30 minutes with no update, I inquired at the front desk and was informed there was a two‑hour delay due to limited staffing. Upon returning to the waiting area, I asked a technician about my father’s place in the queue and was told he would be seen next, however, other patients who arrived after us were called in first. On Advocate’s website it says that this is a by-appointment clinic. But it’s actually a walk in clinic. It doesn’t matter if you have an appointment. You simply join the cue of dozens of people waiting for a blood draw
