My cousin ordered meat pies and sausage rolls.she was told they were the same as bridies.how could beef sausage be the same as ground beef that were in bridies.my relatives and I will not be ordering.its a shame,we have been comingthere since the 50s also,like one of your patrons said every since Joe came in picture goofed up our scottish food.we arent lebanese.prices are ridiculous too.his dad doesn't even charge as much as you.
Ordered many, many dozens of scones. After the 5th or 6th bag of burned scones I was really upset & emailed them. I've been a long time customer & have spent a huge amount of money ordering their products. Not only did they ignore my email they removed me from their Facebook site, probably to ensure I don't give them a bad review there. RecommendedTheir friendly (skeleton) staff is carrying on in these challenging times and making our isolation easier to bear. Always fresh, always delicious and reminding us of loved ones now long gone who introduced us to them.
Our entire family enjoys the delicious things they make here! My personal favorite are the fern cakes. Recently ordered the corned beef pasties, they were fantastic, even the toddler loves them.
Too little filling in Haggis pies and Shepherds pies. Also salty. Pastry was too thick and hard.
The variety of savory pies and pasties, the delicious sweet baked goods, the British market... the whole place is amazing.
Just got my order from this hometown bakery! Everything is as good as it was 30 years ago. Wow, have I missed this. Thanks Ackroyds!

Great Scottish foods - tastes just like the ones I remember from Scotland! Their prices are pretty high though, so visits are limited. Fern cakes are fab and just like the ones at Fisher and Donaldson in Scotland! I wish they hadn’t closed their Birmingham location - it was a lot closer!
