If you know the EXACT component you want and it is literally the example component in an electronics 101 text book, then this is the place for you. If you do not know the exact model number of the component you want, beware, the older gentleman behind the counter can be quite hostile. The last time I went in there looking for a Zener diode, but wasn't able to recall the name Zener.
