Driving on I-76 on December 8, 2021, I had the unfortunate luck of getting behind one of these trucks and the driver had loaded incorrectly and did not shut his back correctly. So as you can imagine, there was plenty of gravel being spewed from the back of this truck, he continued driving and passing everyone while the gravel severely damaged my friend’s (an elderly friend of mine) car. So I was driving home when I noticed one of their trucks spewing giant clouds of black smoke out it’s exhaust, and when I read “environmental contractors” on the side I just had to dig deeper. I called them and asked what work they did and explained to the guy who answered that I couldn’t ignore the irony of the situation. He got EXTREMELY defensive and started trying to argue that I’ve got a car and so I’m contributing to air pollution as well.
