Come on down to the local dump! Everyone else does! This place constantly smells like dog poop and pee. I’ve never lived anywhere where people refuse to clean up after their pets. On top of that, the property manager lets her kids and their friends run wild here. We’ve seen them alone at the pool, jumping the exterior wall to the gym, lifting up the large glass garage-style window and then opening the door to let the rest of the kids in so they can run around. DON’T MOVE HERE!! The first picture below shows a bamboo privacy barrier we hung up on our patio so we didn’t have to look at trash 24/7 which is constantly overflowing and very poorly managed by the Acero Val Vista staff (you should smell it in the summertime, the Arizona heat really ripens up the stench). Long story short, the complex manager issued us an eviction notice for having the bamboo privacy screen hung up. The leasing manager is making up rules that go against our signed lease agreement. She said our patio cover goes against the community “aesthetic“ which is not a legally binding term. When I asked for documentation that showed the “approved aesthetic“ she said she legally didn’t have to show me which is not true and it is in fact a violation of A.R.S. § 33-1342. I have been here since February, and let me tell you.. I CANNOT WAIT to move out. Management doesn't care about any concerns. The property stinks terribly of dog urine, dog poop everywhere! We pay for locked gates, they are always open!!! I found the pool gate open, reported child safety concerns. Think they mentioned that in their fruity fun food emails?! Nope.
