I went into Acsenda for an evaluation about my ADHD and anxiety — the real reasons I needed help. The evaluator instead fixated almost entirely on depression, ignoring the root issues I came to address. Before the evaluation even began, I was told that if I said anything “detrimental,” joking or otherwise, I’d be detained and placed on a 72-hour hold. The staff in the homes take advantage of the mental health patients, do not send your loved ones here, nobody monitors the patients
Thanks for trying to help with the public's mental health crisis. I believe you are trying your best. I just don't understand why I can't get an appointment after awaiting for 4 weeks for your IOP program for my son. Shout out to Becca and other staff at Acenda for being great listeners and calling to check on my family's wellbeing.
