Rich is an honest, forthcoming man. He earned my respect 10 fold. I took my truck to Ace thinking the transmission was bad. After Rich and his team ran some diagnostic tests and whatnot, they determined the trans was not the issue. They tried another repair that did not fix the issue but did not charge me for the part as they put my old part back on. Not many shops will do that. Unfortunately he was not able to fix the issue im having but do not be fooled or let down by that. I respect him for being honest and saying hes no... read more
Honesty - So I had what I thought was a leak from my transaxel or transmission. I brought in they inspected it and it turned out to be nothing, in hindsight possibly condensation dripping from the AC condenser(?). No big deal right, but they could have come up with a repair and how would I have really known. I thank them for running an honest shop and especially for not even charging for the inspection.
Brought the car to 2 shops before I brought it here. Both shops told me they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. Dropped it off here and it was immediately diagnosed and fixed. Still runs great. If you’re looking for an honest mechanic that knows cars, this is the place. Also, if you know what needs to be replaced, buy the part at the auto parts store and bring it to him. He’ll just charge you for the time it takes to install/ repair. No more getting overcharged for parts/ labor.
I've been going to ace transmission and hamilar park was about 4 cars. I owned, they do good work, honest work. And the gentleman that worked on my car's been there over 30 some years, he knows what he's doing, and they're reasonable and honest. The only thing I wish would change is have the transmission guaranteed for a year. And drop the whatever comes first 12000 miles or a year. I wish it would just be one year. Are there net? I would recommend them and they're fantastic. Estech.
We trusted Rich at Ace Transmission and he completely cheated us. We were on the fence regarding whether we should put a new transmission in my 2012 car or cut our losses and invest the $7k in a new car. Rich said that the car seemed to be in good shape and if we weren't having any other issues, his recommendation was to fix it. After we pick up the car, he tells us that the muffler has some holes in it but thinks maybe they can be welded. Upon taking the car to a muffler shop, we're shocked to learn that the crossmember (un... read more
