HONEST MECHANICS!!!!! I took in a potentially very expensive job. Chris the owner discussed it with me, impressed me greatly with his knowledge of the problem with the transmission/radiator on my Nissan (and many others) AND then told me that I should start with Nissan even though I was out of warranty, since there had been a recall and class action. Bottom Line: He passed on business for the good of the customer, and saved me at least $1000, SO FAR, on a major repair.
Let me be the first to tell you that if you want a helpful place then this ACE is your place. The manager Chris is the most helpful guy I have ever worked with at a hardware store. Far exceeds expectations beyond what you would find at a Lowes or HomeDepot. I ordered some screen doors from him and they were a little to big. Chris did not hesitate to personally come to my home make the correct measurement and take away the screen doors from my home and modify them to the correct size himself. Ace Home Center/Hardware is the complete opposite of a Home Depot or Lowe's as you get greeted at the door by not just a "Professional Salesperson" but somebody who seems to be more of a friend in the Hardware Business. When I go into either Home Depot or Lowe's you might if you're lucky find somebody who knows where the restroom is, let alone a 2 x 4!
