2 Stars because the selection of gear is decent. Knocking off 3 because the return policy is quite bad. Partly on me for not asking but also I would not expect any camera store to have essentially no return policy on gear in 2025. That's quite frankly, unacceptable and wholly non-competitive with all of the other camera gear options in VA. At WORST, stores like District Camera and Hunts Photo have a 25% restocking fee if you've noticeably used the gear but you can return anything. Great store filled with knowledgeable and helpful people. Definitely worth the trip.
Way out in the hinterlands of Loudon County. Store feels a bit claustrophobic - there is a lot of products jammed into the aisles - the upside is a lot of choice. Each time I have gone there, I've had track down a sales person in order to buy a product. They have fair prices but not my first choice. If I have to go to Ashburn to buy something, it is easier for me to order it from B&H or Samy's. (The toll road is killer in cost to go from Arlington/Alexandria to Ashburn)
Honestly, just the nicest and most helpful folks across the board for getting our Canadian passport photos done (and done right - they have a Canada connection)! It was just an efficient process for which I am very thankful - I might take up photography just so that I can give them some wider business. :)
Great and friendly owner/staff worked with me until I was 100% satisfied -- going above and beyond to make sure I had the camera/lens I wanted for my purpose. Great job. I'll definitely be back.
