Do NOT park here!! They charge a flat $35 just to park, which is absolutely ridiculous. What’s even worse is that the valet parking nearby has a maximum charge of only $25. How does self-parking cost more than valet? The worst part is that you don’t find out about the $35 fee until you’ve already driven all the way to the entrance. By that point, there’s no easy way to turn around or back out. You are essentially trapped into paying. This feels like a complete rip-off. Save your money and park somewhere else.
2 stars just for the flat rate of $30. I think that’s overpriced, but there was absolutely no other place to park and I ended up staying in La Jolla 6 hours to justify it. Stairs bring you right up to the shops area (la jolla athletic club) and were clean/well lit.
