This funky 21+ East Village dive has easily welcomed the gentrification of avenues A and B. Consequently, it now caters to a large crowd of downtown urban professionals, although hipsters and scruffy locals still pay a visit from time to time. It is also a lesbian hangout on some nights. Ace features a mahogany bar, along with comfortable booths and cheap drinks. Check out their collection of pop culture lunch boxes. There are pool tables and pinball machines available.

I love skee ball, whaaaaaa – this place was awesome, whaaaaaaa, i was able to play skeeball then walk outside every hour and get a different food, huhhhhhhhh, causaaaaa....i drink natty light, but i was forced to drink a classy beer like bud, whaaaaaa. i def reccomned this place, i said meeeee reccomend this. huhhhhhh
Skeeball! – Any bar with darts AND skeeball is good in my book. This is the ultimate East Village dive bar, with every game imaginable, good ambiance, angry bartenders, and enough seating for everyone. My favorite neighborhood bar.

Booze with games – This is a nice frills place man. Totally cool if you want to place some skee ball and pool. I'm up for the big buck hunter they've got. A lot of beers on tab, juke box for the tunes, and you can go dressed in whatever the you want. Some guy there was dressed in a cow suit. Moooooooooooooooo Meat. Party it up with the boys and yell at each other.
Drinking games anyone? – Darts, pool, pinball and now...skeeball? This is a great place to have a drink and goof off in a relaxed atmosphere with a few friends. The service here is great, the drinks are moderately priced and the crowd is eclectic but not annoying.
ACE Bar Thursday Has $2 Drafts 4 'til 10pm – Ace is big. It has 2 pool tables 2 Dart boards 2 Pinball, Machines and 10 different drafts for $2/wow/ Thursday is awesome! Guinness and heifeweisens are $3, but thats a deal too...
fun, if a little unexciting – went here on a tuesday night, so i know it's not necessarily a fair sample. it was dead at 9pm but a good crowd built up over the course of the night, and yet the lone bartender held his own well. all in all a good spot to meet a group for drinks.
Fun, Laid Back, One Great Place – Laid back, Comfortable. Nobody is pretentious. The drinks are good, the beer is good. There are lots of things to do, pool, darts, pinball, or just chat. The employees are nice. If you want a place to chill with out all the mind games and BS this is the spot to be.
AWFUL! – There's nothing like a good old dive bar filled with obnoxious, self-important hipster kids & east village wannabes. Please do not go here if you're looking for a fun bar with an exciting crowd. Beers were way too expensive for this dump as well.
