I called these guys looking to get a price, after I told him that it was I who was paying and not the insurance, it seemed his whole attitude changed, for the worse I might add. It almost seemed like I was actually BOTHERING him by asking for the price. To which his reply ended up being, oh, probably a couple hundred bucks. REALLY? Never have to worry about me bothering them again, or anyone I know who is looking for new glass!

My windshield stress-cracked less than a year after Ace Auto installed - after multiple attempts to contact, they just did not return my calls...Needless to say I went to another vendor. I have ZERO glass deductible BTW, so money was not the issue here.
After a horrendous experience with Safelite auto glass where they held our Ford Transit 250 hostage for two days after ordering the wrong glass two times, we turned to Ace auto glass. The first time the dispatcher at Safelite put incorrect information in the computer and the wrong glass was delivered on Friday. They called late Saturday morning and said the second glass delivered was incorrect, because someone in their warehouse wrote the wrong part number on the windshield.
