Simply put one of the best adventures of my life and some of the most fun I've ever had! I was part of a 14 person bachelor party group for the Upper Gauley with various rafting experience and we all had the best time! My boat was a 4 person 12ft raft led by Ace guide Chris Davis. 3 out of the 4 people in our raft had done the lower Gauley a few years back and told Chris we were looking to do as much as we could for the upper Gauley, boy did he deliver! I was here for a half marathon. Camped night before race and after. Great site. Race was amazing and well run. Trail was outstanding. Had dinner there also. Very good!!!! Carol by my table were huge. The waiter gave me a slice of bread to feed them.
Highly highly recommend this Ace for all your rafting trips! We had Danny as our guide and he was better than we could have asked for! He made sure we had such an amazing trip! We for sure will be back and will request Danny as our guide again!!
We had a great time rafting the Upper Gauley with our awesome guide Josh S.. We will definitely be back for more adventures, 100% recommend.
