Had a wonderful time at Ace's. Ping Pong was fun! The food and spirits are not to be missed.
We showed up and the place seemed pretty cool. I ordered the Tom Kha(r Gai) and the kimchi, which was actually pretty good. Buuuuuuuttttt, it took about an hour and other tables around us of 6, and 11 got their food way before us after we had ordered half an hour before hand. Ace=delicious, fun and eclectic food with an Asian flair! Love it! And honestly, where else can you play ping pong when you're done?! Best surprise ever!
Had the Sake available to order and enjoyed it a ton/we ordered two small appetizer plates at the bar and received excellent service. The ping pong environment was upbeat and fun.
Got their coconut soup with shrimp, and vegetable fried rice with shrimp to go last night - $25 which was pretty steep. Got in the car to leave, but decided to take a sip of soup before taking off - I opened it, and was shocked that the medium sized container was 1/2 full! I went back to complain, and they fixed that, but then I got home & the vegetable fried rice was literally all rice, with a teeny tiny bit of shredded carrot.
