The company name is called "Accurate Value Real Estate Appraisals," however there is nothing accurate about their appraisals. This company, specifically Allan Brown, appraised my house in June 2021. The three comps that he used were from March of 2020. It was a completely different market. Because of his incompetence we lost a sale and a family missed out on their dream house. Inaccurate. Pulled comps that were over 500 square feet less than home size and did not put emphasis on near identical model home sold within 1 mile. Very sloppy work and disappointing.
If this appraisal company calls to schedule an appointment with you, call your lender to request another company. We recently had our house appraised by this company, 2 weeks to get the appraisal back to the bank, they appraised our house over 30,000 less than the assessed value. They were incorrect with the size of the house, decks and garage. added one of our sheds but left two sheds out of the appraisal.
