Met with Dr. (?) Todd Williams for my first visit. Instead of focusing on my care, he spent nearly an hour pushing a $1,000 “brain retraining” program, making it sound essential. He even said my insurance was some of the best he had seen, which makes it clear this wasn’t about lack of coverage. I never asked for aural rehabilitation, nor did I refuse to pay for something I wanted, I declined his $1,000 add-on that was presented as part of my care but not covered by insurance.
