I generally don't have such a pessimistic approach on a Company. But read what I'm about to say. The people within the company I was transitioning to loved contingent status and was encouraged by higher company to apply directly with the company. For the record, as a contingent worker I had passed a previous background check 8 months ago. They also conducted a soft credit check. Every person that works here is a useless chat bot, never get a straight answer, constantly screwing up background checks, wait times of over an hour to get anyone to help. I cannot say enough bad things about this company and its employees. Never allow them to run background checks for your business.
Worst of the worst, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY to verify. They do not know even the most basic fact that a large company like Google has multiple offices. Seriously, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I can't stress this enough.
I would give them ZERO stars if that were possible! They were hired to conduct a background check for my employment, but the process was careless and unprofessional. I listed my expected graduation date (in the future), yet they flagged it as a “discrepancy.” I completed two internships, but they claimed they had already found one and then marked the other as a discrepancy.
