Caution! They will take advantage of you here! I was taken advantage in a major way by this place because I am a woman and I trusted them and kept coming back and they knew it! They are seem like very nice and friendly guys there. That is why I kept coming back. I would take my car in for a oil change and suddenly my car needed needed a huge repair like new transmission(which would have been under warranty at Honda, but they never told me). The "new" transmission they put in only lasted 1 year. I would get my brakes changed ... read more

Friendly local mechanics that you can trust These guys are the kind of mechanics you want to find and then pray they never close/move. Big enough to fix anything, small enough so they remember who you are, and honest in their assessments, estimates, and prices. I have been taking my Toyota Corrola (91) to them for the past two years and they have kept it running great. The first time I brought it in I was missing the hood prop and they had to order it. I was in a rush to get my car back and the part had not arrived so I went... read more

Everyone needs a good mechanic and Accurate Autoworks is that mechanic for anyone living in Pasadena. Everyone at AA is extremely helpful and knowlegeable about cars. They specialize in Hondas, Acuras, Toyotas and Nissans, but they fix everything. Pricing is very competitive and compared with Nissan service way cheaper. Plus they don't try to sell you additional services and/or parts that you don't really need. When they inspect the car, they always give good advice and recommendations but they're not pushy, so if you want t... read more

a huge fan I have been taking my car in for several years. My experience could not be more different from the previous post, and I am also a single woman. I have always found the guys at Accurate to be scrupulously honest, highly competent, and glad to explain things in a way I can understand. My experience today was typical. I was told it just wasn't necessary to do my 60,000 mile service yet. I explained that I was heading to Lake Tahoe and wanted to make sure everything was ok. He went over my records with me and then dec... read more

Excellent, able to fix things others could not. We have been using Accurate for several years now, with all of our Japanese cars. They are not the cheapest, but they are not terribly expensive and the work is consistently excellent. We had AC problems with a Prism/Corolla which we took to the dealer and he just couldn't fix it, then to another shop who had it in twice and couldn't fix it. Then we took it to Accurate and they fixed it and it has worked for the last four years. We've taken our Toyota Sienna, Acura Integra GRS,... read more

easy to work with I was impressed with the approach these folks take. I'm not a 'car guy' so besides the high quality work, their advice and easy going approach is why I come back. The front office folks (especially Ken) take the time to discuss what they're checking, which problems or items are worth fixing, and what types of parts to use.

Honest to the max! I have a '04 Acura TL. Accurate Autoworks has been servicing it since I bought it new. I have always been very pleased with their service and honesty. A few days ago, in the pouring rain, the well where the spare tire sits got filled with water. The movement of the car got the cover of the trunk soaked as well. I took it to them and Erik (ask for him!) said they would look and see where the water came from. He estimated a $200.00 value for the time they would take to look into it. A couple of hours later h... read more

They fixed problems another autoshop caused! By the time I got to Accurate I was done with mechanics; we had a terrible time with Sanders Automotive in Altadena actually making my car worse than when we took it in and then not being able to fix it. We had already spent $1,400 at Sanders and they had my car for almost 2 weeks. The employees at Accurate were kind, knowedgable and reasonable. They fixed my car in less than a day and it runs better than ever before. And the price was very fair. I have already recommended them to... read more

Accurate Autoworks is Scrupulously Honest I have been a loyal customer for many years and have recommended this auto shop to many people over the years. As a single woman, I can assure you they have never taken advantage of me, and have been nothing but helpful and blatantly honest about things that didn't need to be done on my car yet. I had an experience where my car was just serviced at Accurate Autoworks, but I had to take it to the Honda Dealership to have a recall issue replaced (Honda will not let non-Dealers provide ... read more
