I called Accu-Temp shortly after 9 am today, Saturday. I left a message and they called back within 20-30 min and sent a tech out later in the morning. My upper unit had stopped cooling. The technician, JR, was exceptional. He walked me through the process, explained what he was going to do and why. There was no upsell, just excellent service. I am writing this review due to the lack of follow-up, accountability, and resolution following service with Accutemp. I worked with them for over four years. During that time, I was told annually that my system had a coil leak and needed refrigerant added each year. In April 2026, Accutemp came out for maintenance and a refrigerant recharge. I can not speak highly enough about Accu-Temp. Yet again they came to my rescue, and as usual were proficient, informative, friendly, knowledgeable, and not overpriced (if anything, they go out of their way to help save money). They are seriously one of my top 3 best business to deal with in Austin.
I am a renter but have had tech JR at my house twice now. He is great. Super friendly and didn't stop looking until he found the issue. Had it fixed in no time and he was right on the money with his diagnosis and the ac is blowing like a champ and saving me money on electric with this awful heat! Accutemp, Jr should get a raise!
