I've used multiple home warranty companies over the years for various properties and I'm aware that home warranty companies have to be careful on what they approve in order to make sure no ones trying to get them to pay for something that was preexisting. We purchased our home a little bit over a month ago and our hvac started leaking, we sent over the inspection report to them and “claimed that it had low refrigerant and there fire could not help us. We reviewed the inspection report and that was not at all true. She then proceeded to claim that the hvac system had fungal growth and the ac unit was not leveled I informed her that those issues were resolved before we purchased the home and sent over the invoice. I just wanted someone to come look at a corner of my kitchen that had suddenly lost power. Even showed her a picture that the inspector took of the brand new hood range lighting up that was connected to that same corner. She asked for the whole report and claimed that since it has some wiring issues in other areas it wasn't covered. There was power before and now there wasn't and that wasn't covered. Worst customer service. They said they didn’t service my area and referred to a bunch of “fine” print. A costly repair, in which they denied because of fine print beware! They will poke your eyes out! Supervisors not helpful and could care less. Hope they get a taste of their own medicine when they have an issue in their own home. Manager Ashley and Supervisor Nicole could care less about you!
