Horrible Patient Interactions My son was taken in while visiting his grandmother. Turns out he had strep throat (my grandmother, a nurse, had already diagnosed him). His grandmother told the nurse what she suspected was wrong with him. The doctor came in: never introduced himself, had a gruff, too-busy demeanor when dealing with my son, and said, "So you think he has strep? Ok, we'll do a swab and find out." - and then left.
