I struggled with this rating. The care I’ve received from the doctors, nurses, any medical staff has been amazing. 5 stars easy. The desk workers and phone operators are a 1 star. When you call you need to listen to a 3 minute recording before they list the options to select and if you pick the wrong one I’ve had them before short, and sound like their bothered or hang up on me. This review isn’t about this clinic, its about one of the staff working there, Cindy Allen who is a nurse practitioner. I didn’t deal with Ms Allen at Access Transcona, I dealt with her on a virtual appointment on Qdoc. She is by far one the worst medical professionals I have ever dealt with. She is very rude, very condescending. I very just had a bad experience with a wound care worker in conversation he told me he carries pepper spray and it triggered me being a victim of a violent crime in the past ... I feel that in good judgment I do not feel that this worker should be let into clients homes ... Winnipeg is no longer safe anymore
Very good care from receptionist to Dr! Used to get appointments within the week, now sadly, wait is 3 weeks.
