I only feel comfortable speaking about this now. An NP saw my niece who was experiencing an illness that became acute on her bed. My niece struggled to lift her arms and communicate at which point the NP rolled her eyes and was smirking stating to another nurse (while trying to downplay the situation) that she thought she was exaggerating for attention.
