Quick for blood work, the wait time was 6 minutes and that was the wait
I love Access Norwest! They are located in a convenient location and they provide good quality care to their patients. I especially am thankful to Melissa Forester my Nurse Practitioner, Rafael Laureano my Community Mental Health Worker, and also to Roberta Bartolo my Counsellor. I brought my 16 year old in on a Saturday. The NP listened to her and my 16 year old started to feel unsteady. The NP was doubtful of her complaints and downplayed them. Another nurse came in and I had to insist an ambulance be called. The initial NP continued to downplay her complaints and her face appeared doubtful. "Just another over active teen " was her expression. My 16 year old died 4 days later from acute leukemia and her last contact with norwest was with a NP who didnt believe her.
I am very thankful to this walk-in clinic for the excellent care they provided to my daughter. My daughter had a high fever and was very sick. The staff were very kind and the process was very fast. The nurse, Sandra, was especially helpful and caring. She listened carefully, arranged the proper tests, and because of her help my daughter was diagnosed with pneumonia.
