These doctors need to get on the same page.. about a month ago my 8 month old son got sick for the first time, it happened to be Monday night at about 8pm, he had a fever approaching 103 and I immediately went to Walmart to get some infant ibuprofen to help with the fever as we were going to try our best to avoid the emergency room and see if we could control the fever with the ibuprofen, I returned home with the ibuprofen around 9pm and gave it to him immediately. I had a great experience at Avera for my immigration medical exam. The clinic is spacious, very clean, and professional. Everyone on the staff was incredibly kind. I even went to the wrong entrance by mistake, and a staff member personally walked me to the correct area. Since they have a USCIS-authorized civil surgeon, the process for my vaccines and blood work was smooth and helpful. Highly recommend them for anyone needing immigration services!
It is disappointing that this is another clinic that will hold your prescription refills hostage until you have an appointment on the schedule even if it wasn't necessary for 4 months. They truly care more about making sure they have income than patient health.
They don't give a damn about the patient. They dont get back to you about test results and good luck getting another appointment to go over the results no matter how sick the person is! The woman on the phone is extremely rude and lies!!! What a joke.
