Was referred to Accepting by a Psychiatrist. Left a message and waited over a week for a response. Their questionnaire asks what you're willing to pay per session. I received a call saying that the only person they had available usually charges more but is willing to see me... Okay. Way to make me feel like a burden. They could've left that part out. I paid$390 for the first session since it was an "assessment." I filled out a long questionnaire beforehand, which the therapist confessed to not reading. I had 3 or 4 sessions ... read more

Just to be clear, this review is not about the therapy from the office. I was a new patient over telehealth, and had amazing sessions with my therapist! However, the reason for the low star review was because of the poor communication with the office or management. As a new patient, I had a question about my invoice so I called the number provided on the invoice, which is same on the website, this google page, and on the documents provided by the office. I've utilized therapy services from many different providers over the years. My therapist, David, at Accepting Therapy has been so supportive, flexible and kind. I'm proud of the work we've done together and I look forward to our sessions knowing that I will leave feeling better than I arrived. I encourage anyone who is thinking about therapy to consider Accepting Therapy's services!
