I had read what felt like all the books and had journaled a ton and had lived experiences, etc but was still struggling immensely. I didn’t realize what I couldn’t see until people in Accepted (particularly Beckie and then James and Steven in the Hawaii wellness workshops ) helped me break through those walls, some that felt like mountains. Accepted is a place of healing and a place of “Acceptance”. It strives to meet you where you are at and facilitate healing and strength within yourself. As someone who has worked both professionally and personally in the therapeutic space…I could never speak more highly about this wonderful practice and organization. I am back from Hawaii and what I thought was going to be a "little getaway to Hawaii" was what changed my life. I can't put it all into words without giving it all away. I am a new person. I had the privilege of going to Hawaii for the Accepted wellness workshop. It was an amazing experience that jumpstarted my healing journey in a way I never could have anticipated. Beyond grateful to the whole team that ensured we were provided for, and cared for throughout the whole week. The guides are amazing and gifted. Can’t recommend the workshop, and the therapists/coaches enough.
I had the pleasure of working with Jason Dausses and he is kind, thoughtful and empathetic. I’ve had a lot of issues discussing the thoughts of shame and failure and constantly not feeling good enough which created an anxiety feedback loop. Jason helped me with some coping mechanisms and has been relatable as both a therapist and a professional coach. I’d recommend him and the facilities at Accepted are outstanding.
