My father in law suffered a stroke on the 20th of June around July 3rd we decided to move him to hospice. Although we had to stay in the hospital we were assured that hospice would be taken forward or we'd be in contact and they would keep us in the loop that they visited everyday. we wouldn't know anything if I didn't keep calling the hospital and checking in it was like as soon as they got the insurance information they bounced no more contact cool other paycheck and a fat check from the I surance. I am writing to share a deeply troubling and painful experience that occurred under the care of AccentCare Hospice, which I hope no other family will ever have to endure. When my mother’s health declined, we made the decision to bring her home so she could be comfortable in her final moments. I am very pleased with the staff that came in to help with my mom. Nurse Samatha was very patient with her. Her aide Beth would come in to help her shower and mom would argue with her a min and she just laughed and after everything was done mo. Would say she felt better. Beth would sit and talk with us. And the rest of the staff we had was very nice and I'm so glad to have had them here.
