We began our kitchen renovation by contacting Accent Kitchens to find out if we would be able to use some granite slabs that we had found for cheap. Their receptionist said they could work with us so we purchased the granite. She also told us that if we removed our counters ourselves, we would only be looking at about \$300 in installation.
