My husband took our teen daughter to her appointment, Later I asked him if they had mentioned her wisdom teeth. He said no, so i figured i would call to inquire since she is within the average age to get them extracted. . I called up there to ask since it wasnt mentioned at her appointment. The office manager told me they dont look at wisdom teeth unless they mention being in pain and that i could PAY FOR ANOTHER OFFICE VISIT for them to look at them. 4 years ago for my child they wanted to pull 5 teeth all at once. The facility was dirty, the office personnel stressed and short when speaking to parents, and the dentist refused to allow parents observe. I got a second opinion at a much more reasonable establishment and not a single tooth needed to be pulled and only one needed a filling. The extra drive out to Troy, MO is so worth it not just for health and overall care of my child's teeth, but for the bedside manner and calm atmosphere.
