Our debt relief program with AFS was for the most part pretty good. There were a few times when we were served with lawsuit papers that we became discouraged as we were not expecting it. Thankfully, settlements were reached before the court date but it's a heart pounding thing to have the sheriff's office knock on your door. Our counselor's were very nice and understanding when we got into a real bind and worked with us if we ran into a financial problem. I have recommended AFS to others.
