We have been so busy enjoying our new home that I have been remiss in leaving a review. With ACC we were able to utilize the limited square footage of an ADU exactly as we wanted rather than having to pick from a handful of pre-made plans. I would definitely call them back for another project.

We bought property in 2019 and for nearly 5 years between a horribly dishonest civil engineering firm and a dysfunctional city bureaucracy we approached Joey and Vern at ACC. We were at an inflection point, build or buy. Joey’s expertise and friendly jovialness and Vern’s kind knowledgeable patience during the meeting set a tone of confidence, collaboration, and possibility. Joe here is my recommendation for your company. Where should I post it? ACC Custom Homes was a pleasure to work with on my home addition/renovation project. The owner, Joe Simons, showed true leadership throughout the project. He developed a very reasonable budget and workable schedule at the beginning of the project and led his team of contractors to finish ahead of schedule and under budget. We used ACC for a remodel as a consultant service. There was very little benefit in using this service. They did not come through on the discounts that were part of their process. As another review mentioned, we found better pricing elsewhere and still had to pay 15% to ACC. The process is flawed. The owner is knowledgeable however some of his design ideas are not up to current standards. Be careful of this business and the agreement you sign.

The idea of getting builders discounts and having someone coordinate the work in our home was enticing. We signed a contract to pay ACC 15% on top of whatever we had done. As it turns out we found better pricing on everything ourselves and not through ACC's suppliers. It seems that ACC does not do enough business with its suppliers to earn really any discount. Items we shopped: Whole house lights, all plumbing fixtures and toilets, appliances, and door knobs. So we did all the work locating these items and then paid 15%... read more
