I have a Crohn's flare-up & Ulcerative Colitis which has been getting worse no matter what I do. AcariaHealth is the only mail order pharmacy my insurance uses. Prior Authorization was submitted 6 months ago; Humera has yet to be shipped to me, as my symptoms worsen. AcariaHealth has committed fraud with avoidance tactics until the new Healthcare legislation was enacted this January, therefore allowing them to deny my claim. If it was humanly possible to give this group less than 1 star, I would. I have spent on average 3 to 4 hours on the phone with Acaria Health trying to get my prescription for Crohn's Disease. As it happens, the customer service team would only provide a single step of the process at a time to get it approved, which I had to manually conduct between my Prescribing Doctor, my Insurance Agency, and Acaria. I needed a prescription for my migraines. My insurance company referred me to them. I had everything preapproved through my insurance before calling. They told me it would be a week or less. 2 months later yes 2 months they call me and telle my prescription is ready. And that my copay is higher than my maximum allotted copay. Absolutely ridiculous!! And when I initially called they said they had said medicine in stock.
