The only difficult thing about her is trying to remember the 'eilh' at the end of her name! She's the easiest-going doctor I've ever known! I had tremendous weight gain during my pregnancy- She says "YOU GOOD". Gestational diabetes- FUHGETABOUDIT! (And we kept a close eye on my diet) She takes serious things seriously and otherwise puts my mind at ease when I'm worried. Dr Monteilh delivered my 3rd baby yesterday by C section. If you are looking for a great provider, she is absolutely wonderful and a great surgeon. Her nursing staff team Tess and Miranda are also great and wonderful!
I cannot leave review on Dr.Monique as I have never met her. I am pregnant with my second child currently and was looking for a new GYN (as unfortunately my wonderful GYN of over 20 years no longer accepts my insurance and I can’t get new insurance until Dec/Jan). What I can tell you is when a pregnant woman is going through a lot, the last thing she needs is to deal with someone with zero compassion and understanding, for someone to be so unnecessarily rude to her. Really a wonderful Doctor. Dr. Monteilh’s examinations are painless and quick. I’ve never felt the awkwardness as I have with male doctors. The best thing is, she can totally understand any problems that you may have. To me, this is priceless!
