Very unethical billing practices. My therapist became licensed and was waiting to be paneled with my insurance and rather than have the therapist sign off under another provider, which is an option to avoid charging the client out of pocket, they choose to bill you the full amount, which is $135 compared to $25. I was also told it could take 6-8 weeks for the therapist to get paneled. Lynn Wihongi is the best! I highly recommend using her. Nothing but good things to say about Acadian Counseling. I would definitely recommend them to family and friends!

The therapists only try to be helpful when you are paying them money. However, once you stop treatment, they are not willing to be helpful at all, even with something as simple as a copy of previous notes that were taken during treatment. I wanted to bring historical notes to my new counselor for continued treatment and the therapist at Acadian refused. Seek help elsewhere where you are treated as a human being and not just a source of income.
