I highly recommend the Acadia property—it truly has everything you could want. From the pool and gym to the breathtaking rooftop views, there's no shortage of amenities. I've lived here for almost a year and a half and recently upgraded to a larger unit within the building. Whether you have views of the park or DC, they're absolutely stunning. It's 12am and maintenance has decided that this was the best time to use powertools drill, and hammer while working in one of the nearby apartments. Such a disturbance that it has woken my 18 month old. I spoke to the front desk who said they will inform them. I am pretty sure they were notified. This has been going on for the past 40 mins now. This is not the first time this has happened at such a late time. Although the front desk staff is a pleasure, this inconsiderate behavior is a reason not to stay here.
As a current resident, I feel obligated to warn prospective tenants: read all the low-scored reviews carefully. Problems with units can happen anywhere, but the management here is truly exceptional—for all the worst reasons. The management is utterly disorganized and shockingly unresponsive. My husband and I are touring apartments in the area and the Acadia was almost immediately scratched off our list. Upon calling to get a tour the guy on the phone was rude to my husband and scheduled us at 12:45 but I guess wrote down 12:00 bc when we showed up early there was no one there to give us a tour so we wait until 1:00pm when another person had also shown up to get a tour at 1:00.
