Always have what I'm looking for in stock and at a price better than anywhere else around. I prefer this store over most I've been to.
I was on my way to a scout event for my son and needed to pick up 2 rain resistant jackets. I spoke with the floor associate by the name of Jim. Jim was very nice. He looked for both of the items that I needed and even compared the prices and gave me several options on the phone. He put my items in customer service for me and even helped me once I arrived to the store to purchase my items. I love great customer service and Jim has it.
WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE AGAIN. GOT RUN AROUND ON THERE RETURN POLICY FOR A DEFECTIVE PART REPLACEMENT
Went to buy a grill tonight and all of their grills are preassembled. That might be OK for some people but not everyone has a pick up truck. I looked up what the box dimensions were online before driving to go get it however I did not know I would have to grab one that has already been touched tons of people and is already assembled. So it would not fit. Now I will have to go somewhere else to buy that grill. So someone else can get my $500. Plus everything I was going to buy with it.
Just had an awesome customer experience with Jimmy at Academy. Could not set my Adidas watch so Jimmy saw it as a challenge and spent the time to set the watch with the correct time and date. Very gracious thank you.
Large selection of items at this store. They have a huge parking lot as well, so you don't have to drive around forever to find a place to park. The staff was very helpful and pleasant to talk with. An overall great shopping experience.
Glasses station clerk needs to learn more about the glasses because I asked about the ladies Costas "Isabella" if they came in the glass lenses and was told no.... but when I went too the website to customize mine they in fact came in glass.
Hello. I frequently go to this particular academy I'm Roger's. Xmas shopping, birthday shopping etc for my family of 5. Yesterday, me and my little boys went in there shopping for my husband some clothing and another costumer has his bulmastiff dog in the store shopping. The man did have him on a leash. The problemI had, was the man allowed the dog to come over to me and my small children sniffing us up a d down. It was so rude . The new location in West Mobile has already proven to be an absolute failure at customer service. In the last three and half weeks I've purchased well over $200 in merchandise from this location and I rarely ask employees for help. Tonight I went to purchase some pants they had out on a display in the middle of an aisle since they opened 11-3-12 and I saw just last Wednesday 11-20-12.
