They have made some big changes and I must say we were somewhat disappointed. Products they have been caring no longer available, we had a cart and could not pass another couple in the same aisle because the aisles were so narrow. Stuff in every aisle made moving around hard. Hopefully things will return and this is a temporary issue but just doesn't look it's going ro the case...
I was looking for a birthday present for my daughter who is going to be 4. I went to the Belton Academy store they were out of what I need it which was a clearance item they called the Overland park store which had it held it for me and was great when I picked it up the next day
I like that Academy put in extra effort to stay open and let Chiefs fans buy championship shirts. I love the good selection and price range. It wasn't my first visit and definitely not my last
RecommendedI don't normally shop on Black Friday events but Academy Sports has really good deals on firearms. I have purchased several from your store before and had great customer service. I felt given the situation of Black Friday your staff did a great job handling the crowd. I only purchased a firearm and want to say thanks to Mark,Ron and the other team members for doing a great job handling the firearms counter. Probably the best service I have received at a retail store all year. Price was also better than expected on football cleats.
They gave A+ service today, with my daughter during the Girls on the Run event. Thank you
The Isle was crammed with so much merchandise you could not safely get through if there was an emergency. Cashier did not know how to fill out a credit application.
