Got a really good deal on Under Armour shoes. This would be my go-to store for athletic shoes. Love the fishing equipment even though it's been a while since I went fishing. For anyone wanting a big selection of sports stuff, Academy is the place to start and so much better than Dick's since they stopped selling fishing supplies.
Does not release firearms after the federal 72 hour hold. I'm a law abiding citizen and this is absurd. DO NOT TRANSFER YOUR FIREARMS HERE!

I had one of the worst retail experiences EVER today. I will not shop at this location in the future. The associate at customer service was anything but pleasant, actually bordering on belligerent. I hope that the manager took the feedback that I gave him and acted on it. In my opinion this associate should be reassigned to the stockroom, she has no business working with the public.
Very poor services. Wanted to order boy's hiking boots that were not stocked at this store. They would not print a receipt for my credit card charge. Instead only an email receipt was promised (with a 30 minute delay). I spoke to the manager explaining how other sporting stores can give you a receipt as soon as your card is charged. He said he could do nothing. I reminded him that he could and should do something - report to his management my unhappy comments so Academy could better serve its customers in the future. Frustrated that there were 14+ options of men’s soccer shoes but only 3 women’s choices. All three were picked over, so nothing even close to my daughter’s size. Salespeople either suggested trying men’s sizes (too big) or boy’s sizes (too small). I like shopping there, but this experience makes me reconsider other stores. I was told selection was limited because of soccer season, but shouldn’t stores expect it every season? Not happy with the gender disparity on soccer shoes.
