Our experience started out great, but in 3Q 2013 rates started rising very fast AFTER we had locked our rate with First Mortgage Co (FMC). FMC allowed our rate lock to expire, then tried to blame this on us by saying we had delayed paperwork. I honestly didn't know so I checked my e-mail records as all documentation was sent by e-mail.
